| Duties: | Deborah�s Place is conducting a search for a part-time Grant Writer to prepare and submit grant proposals for private and public sources and to prepare timely and accurate reports for existing grantors of the organization. This position will work with the Evaluation and Grants Manager to maintain current grants sources and to identify, assess, and solicit new opportunities for private and public grants funding.

| Qualifications: | Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelors degree; minimum of two years experience and a proven track record in grant writing for a nonprofit organization; experience working in deadline-driven environments; excellent writing skills, with ability to write clear, structured, articulate and persuasive proposals and produce a high-quality work product within tight time constraints; highly organized with superb attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Word and Excel); ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines; knowledge of issues related to homelessness and of sources of fundraising information
