| Description: | Provide case management to new tenants moving into Marah�s as assigned by Program Coordinator, provide staffing and support to learning center staff, and providing staffing and support to Marah�s staff. A case manager works individually with participants to help them overcome the obstacles they face while working to achieve their goals. A case manager begins her work by engaging with participants and allowing them to take the time to build trust and become comfortable with the case management relationship. A case manager respects participants' rights to privacy, space, and freedom in decision-making. A case manager acts as an advocate, a trusted and reliable confidante, a resource advisor, and a participant's "go-to" person during a crisis. Also work with tenants on their rent payments and maintaining their housing, as well as work with the Administrator and Coordinator to keep housing files and rent ledger updated. |
| Duties: | Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
� Conduct intakes and assessments with assigned participants
� Assist participants to identify goals and the steps they will take to achieve them
� Provide necessary resources and referrals to aid in goal achievement
� Maintain participant files, record progress notes, and enter service-related information into agency database
� Act as an advocate for all participants on caseload
� Provide support, encouragement, and objective feedback to participants.
� Assist in updating rent ledger by calculating balances, working with tenants on payment plans, ect.
� Assist Program Coordinator in keeping housing files up to date
� Work as a team member with Marah�s Housing staff as well as Marah�s Learning Center Staff to ensure quality services are being provided to assigned participants
� Participate in weekly individual supervision and weekly group supervision (Clinical Rounds, Clinical Roundtable)
� Other duties as assigned

| Qualifications: | Applicant Strengths and Qualities:
Interest in working one-on-one with participants, and serving as a non-judgmental advocate in multiple facets of participants' lives. Ability to engage with, and build rapport with participants. Ability to demonstrate empathy. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to utilize a person-centered approach, and a strengths-based perspective. Ability to work in a team environment as well as being able to handle tasks independently.
